I got this as a birthday present and wasn't sure what to do with it. I put it on my guitar strap plugged it in to my old amp. I guess using it kinda like a preamp. In the clean mode it brought out a new tone it seemed like I was using a larger amplifier. Then when I kicked on the distortion is literally blew my doors off. You can turn the distortion up gradually to get whatever sound you want . It really cranks!

I don't usually leave comments about something but I think its just amazing you can't go wrong. I use it as a practice amp with my headphones. It sounds like a full stack.

I’m an instrumentalist, a natural metal player and part time blues. This preamp kicks ass. Getting this tone and distortion without a tube isn”t easy. I’m recommending it to all my guitar playing friends. Thanks for the great tone.
